It’s Easter. For Christians, we respond to this happy season by living resurrected lives. We push our “reset” buttons and start anew with new hope and new actions for realizing God’s vision for a gracious and just world. In that effort, the Kaleidoscope Institute are offering a number of continuing education events this Spring and Summer to empower faithful people with skills, knowledge and processes for transformational Easter living.

Gracious Leadership for Building Bridges Holy Currencies
The Kaleidoscope Institute, under the guidance of Rev. Eric Law, is pleased to offer a Wisconsin/Illinois KI Institute at the Siena Center in Racine, Wisconsin. Two simultaneous training tracks will be offered in this 2-½ Day event. The training tracks are Holy Currencies or Gracious Leadership for Building Bridges. The Holy Currencies track will engage participants in the six blessings for sustainable missional ministry. The Gracious Leadership track will engage participants in analysis and facilitation skills to lead groups and congregations through difficult social and theological issues. The participants need not have previous experience with KI material. Congregational or ministry teams are encouraged to attend together.
The registration fee covers lodging, two breakfasts, two lunches and one supper in addition to training materials. Registration is limited to 18 participants per track. Prior to attending, participants should read the following books: Holy Currency track should read Holy Currencies by Eric Law; Gracious Leadership track should read The Bush Was Blazing But Not Consumed and The Wolf Shall Dwell with the Lamb.

July 17-18, 2017 Stewardship365 Orientation
Location: Cathedral Center of St. Paul, 840 Echo Park Ave., Los Angeles, CA
Shift your congregation’s thinking about stewardship from mission to vision; from scarcity to abundance and from fear to grace. Help them to include the currencies of relationship, truth, wellness, gracious leadership and time and place.
Participants will:
- Gain an overview of this year-round stewardship programs based on the Holy Currencies/Cycle of Blessings model developed by Eric H. F. Law.
- Learn how to build an effective stewardship team that will engage your congregation in this stewardship movement
- Learn how to facilitate an Orientation process that invites the congregation to embrace this new way of being good stewards
- Discover on-line resources that can assist facilitation of this year-round process

July 19-20, 2017 Building Bridges Dialogue on Race and other important issues of our time
Location: Cathedral Center of St. Paul, 840 Echo Park Ave., Los Angeles, CA
In an increasingly polarized and violent world, there are few places where people can have a reasonable and constructive dialogue about race relations and other important issues of our time. Imagine the churches in your neighborhood having the ability to provide gracious time and place for truth-seeking dialogue that can achieve non-violent mutual understanding.
Participants will:
- Experience a full dialogue process on race relations
- Learn how to provide hospitality and prepare people for dialogue, not debate
- Learn how to invite people from their church and neighborhood to come to an initial dialogue to achieve mutual understanding through deep listening
- Learn how to access the Building Bridges dialogue curriculum to continue their development as dialogue facilitators by participating in future KI webinars

July 21-22, 2017 Designing Processes for Consultation and Dialogue
Location: Cathedral Center of St. Paul, 840 Echo Park Ave., Los Angeles, CA
For Kaleidoscope Institute Catalysts, Coaches and Associates who want to increase their skills in working with clients to design dialogue and consultation processes that are relevant, impactful and gracious.
Prerequisite: Gracious Leadership Training and Catalyst Training or the equivalence.
Participants will:
- Learn how to do an Initial discovery process with client
- Acquire skills to help the client clarify their needs and concerns and goals
- Learn how to design effective programs that respond to clients’ needs and concerns revealed in the initial consultation process
- Learn the process of writing an effective proposal to meet clients’ requests
- Gain a deeper understanding of the KI dialogue and consultation processes based on the Grace Margin model
- Learn how to use KI tools such as the Process for Planned Change as a consultation model and process
